WORKSHOP CMS BALITBANG - PURBALINGGA

Workshop CMS Balitbang di Kabupaten Purbalingga dilaksanakan tanggal 23 sampai dengan 26 Juli 2011 bertempat di SMA Negeri 1 Purbalingga berlangsung lancar dan menyenangkan.

Para peserta yang berjumlah 15 sekolah mengikuti materi dengan seksama dibawah bimbingan Tim Pengembang CMS Balitbang dari Yogyakarta yaitu Bapak Choirul Anam, S.ST dan Bapak Yulianto Sri Utomo, S.Kom, dibantu Admin Daerah Banyumas Bapak P. Widiyanto, S.Pd dan Bapak Riza Pahlevi, S.Kom.

Seluruh materi diikuti secara tuntas dan kejar tayang, karena waktu yang disediakan Panitia ( MGMP TIK Kabupaten Purbalingga ) hanya selama 4 hari ( efektif 3 hari untuk materi ).

Dengan antusiasme peserta, ternyata seluruh peserta berhasil menyelesaikan pembuatan website sekolah sampai dengan hosting ke web hosting.

Selamat Jalan Franky Sahilatua ...

Indonesia kehilangan satu lagi musisi berbakat dan humanis, Franky Hubert Sahilatua yang dikenal dengan Franky Sahilatua telah tutup usia. Si 'Perahu Retak' itu kini berlayar ke sisi-Nya.
Terjunnya Franky ke dunia musik adalah sebuah ketidaksengajaan. Cita-cita Franky belia kala itu ingin menjadi pelaut. Namun kedua orangtuanya, Hubert Johannes Sahilatua dan Theodora Joveva Uneputi-Sahilatua tak memberi izin.
Pria kelahiran Surabaya, 16 Agustus 1953 itu kemudian berkuliah di Akademi Akuntansi Surabaya. Tapi, musik telah memberi Franky pemasukan. Uang tersebut kemudian ia tabung sebagai modal ke Jakarta. Franky ingin masuk dunia rekaman.Franky kemudian merilis album 'Senja Indah di Pantai' berduet dengan sang adik Jane Sahilatua pada 1975. Bersama Jane, Franky menelurkan 15 album di bawah label Jackson Record. Sekitaran 1992-1993 lahirlah lagu-lagu kenamaan Franky yaitu 'Perahu Retak', 'Orang Pinggiran', 'Terminal' dan 'Di Bawah Tiang Bendera'.

Franky senang sekali membicarakan lingkungan sekitar. Lagu 'Kemesraan' pun merupakan satu dari puluhan karya Franky. Iwan Fals yang mempopulerkan lagu tersebut. Belakangan, Franky banyak terlibat dalam pertunjukan dengan tema sosial dan nasionalisme.

Hingga pada 1 Agustus 2010 lalu Franky sakit dan dibawa ke Singapura untuk mendapatkan perawatan. Menurut diagnosa ternyata Franky menderita kanker sumsum tulang belakang. Menjelang kepulangannya ke Indonesia, kaki Franky malah lumpuh.
Tumor yang semakin membesar menjepit saraf tulang belakang Franky. Surutkah semangatnya? Menyerah tidak pernah ada dalam kamus kehidupan Franky. Dana pun terkucur dari sahabat-sahabat yang ingin melihat si 'Perahu Retak' itu meluncur kembali.
Setelah 7 bulan dirawat di Singapura, pada 17 Februari 2011 Franky kembali ke Tanah Air. Kesehatannya pun naik turun hingga pada 16 April Franky dilarikan ke Rumah Sakit Medica Permata Hijau, Jakarta Selatan.
Sayang Tuhan berkehendak lain, Franky menghembuskan napas terakhirnya pada Rabu (20/4/2011) pukul 15.15 WIB di usia ke-57. Hingga akhir napasnya pun Franky tetap berjuang.
Menurut sang istri, Harwantiningrum, Franky tak pernah meninggalkan musik walaupun dalam keadaan sakit keras. Beberapa lagu telah diciptakan Franky dalam masa tersebut.
Meski Franky kini telah tiada, karyanya akan tetap hidup. Semangatnya akan tetap membara.

Dari seorang gelandangan yang tak dilirik orang, sontak menjadi selebritis dengan kekayaan terakhir tercatat Rp82 miliar.Dan tiba-tiba saja, ketenaran Mbah Surip diangkat secara mendadak pula. Tuhan dengan cepat memangggil laki-laki yang tengah berada di titik kulminasi popularitas. Mbah Surip kini telah tiada

Laki-laki yang menggelandang di ibukota dengan mimpi terakhirnya ingin mempunyai sebuah helikopter ini menghembuskan nafasnya pada hari Selasa 4 agustus 2009 pukul 10.30. Menurut informasi, bah Surip di bawa ke RS Pusdikkes, Jakarta Timur."Meninggal pukul 10.30 WIB. Dibawa ke sini sudah meninggal," kata Ibu Omega, bagian rekap medis di RS Pusdikkes, Jakarta Timur. Belum jelas Mbah Surip meninggal karena penyakit apa. Dia meninggalkan 4 anak dan 4 cucu setelah 26 tahun menduda.

Belakangan, nama band D’Masiv kembali mencuat. Namun, kali ini tidak dalam catatan-catatan prestasi dan rekor penjualan nada sambung pribadi atau RBT, melainkan dalam hal yang tidak mengenakkan. D’Masiv dituduh sebagai plagiat.

Bahkan, kredibilitas Anugerah Musik Indonesia Ke-12 tahun ini sempat diragukan hanya karena memasukkan nama band asal Jakarta itu sebagai salah satu unggulan peraih penghargaan Artis Pendatang Baru Terbaik-terbaik. Tak kurang dari anggota Dewan Pengarah AMI Seno M Hardjo sendiri mengakui pihaknya ”kecolongan” dengan masuknya D’Masiv . ”Tetapi, yang penting dia tidak terpilih sebagai pemenang,” tutur Seno.

Benarkah band yang beranggotakan Rian Ekky Pradipta (vokal), Nurul Damar Ramadhan (gitar), Dwiki Aditya Marsall (gitar), Rayyi Kurniawan Iskandar Dinata (bas), dan Wahyu Piadji (drum) itu menjiplak? Apa tepatnya yang ia lakukan sehingga mendapat tuduhan sebagai plagiat?

Menurut wartawan musik Buddy Ace, lagu mereka yang berjudul ”Dilema” mencontek hampir semua bagian dari lagu ”Soldier’s Poem” yang dibawakan band populer asal Inggris, Muse. ”Notasi, pola ritme atau irama, cara memainkan gitar, hingga cara menyanyi Rian sama dengan Muse,” tutur Buddy.

Tak berhenti sampai di situ, band pemenang acara kontes band A Mild Rising Star 2007 itu juga dianggap mencontek lagu-lagu musisi luar negeri lain. Di YouTube, sejak enam bulan silam beredar video rekaman yang menjajarkan lagu-lagu band tersebut dengan lagu yang dianggap telah dijiplak.

Lagu ”Dan Kamu”, misalnya, dianggap menjiplak ”Head Over Heels (In This Life)” milik band Switchfoot asal San Diego, Amerika Serikat. Lagu Switchfoot lainnya yang berjudul ”Awakening” ”diambil” intro dan ketukan ritmenya dalam lagu ”Diam Tanpa Kata”.

Intro lagu ”Luka Ku” mirip dengan ”Drive”-nya Incubus. Intro lagu ”Cinta Sampai di Sini” juga persis dengan ”Into The Sun” milik band Lifehouse dari Los Angeles, AS. Semua lagu itu ada di album perdana D’Masiv yang berjudul Perubahan.

”Racun”

Menurut Buddy, salah satu kelaziman dalam dunia jiplak menjiplak lima tahun terakhir ini adalah mencontek bagian intro atau refrain dari sebuah lagu. Bagian-bagian tersebut biasanya menjadi ”racun” atau ”hook”, yang menarik perhatian pendengar. ”Rian CS adalah salah satu dari sekian banyak musisi muda negeri ini yang akhirnya tertangkap basah melakukan copycat terhadap upaya membuat ’racun’ atau ’hook’ pada karya mereka,” tulis Buddy Ace dalam salah satu artikelnya.

D’Masiv menolak semua tudingan ini. Dalam jumpa pers yang digelar di Hard Rock Cafe Jakarta, 1 April lalu, vokalis Rian mengaku, dia dan grupnya hanya terinspirasi lagu-lagu dari musisi luar itu. ”Intinya, kalau aku bikin lagu tuh mengalir saja. Enggak pernah mikir. Seandainya ada kemiripan, itu pasti karena enggak sengaja. Kebetulan D’Masiv emang suka band-band kayak Muse, Switchfoot, Incubus. Kita emang terinspirasi banget sama mereka,” tutur Rian.

Bukan pertama

Sebenarnya kasus D’Masiv bukanlah yang pertama kali terjadi. Pada tahun 2005, grup Radja pernah dituduh menji- plak lagu ”Teardrops” dari The Radios untuk lagu mereka, ”Jujur”, dan ”Lately”-nya Stevie Wonder untuk lagu ”Tulus”. Waktu itu Radja berkilah kemiripan yang terjadi adalah murni kebetulan dan ketidaksengajaan (Kompas, 7/1/2007).

Belakangan, lagu ”I Love U, Bibeh” dari kelompok The Changcuters juga dituduh meniru lagu populer grup Creedence Clearwater Revival (CCR), ”Have You Ever Seen the Rain?” ”Kerangka lagu itu mirip banget dengan lagunya CCR,” ungkap gitaris Dewa Budjana.

Terlepas dari tanggung jawab moral setiap artis, pertanyaan yang lebih mengganggu adalah apa yang sebenarnya terjadi pada industri musik Indonesia saat ini?

Indrawati Widjaja, Presiden Direktur Musica Studios tempat D’Masiv bernaung, mengaku tidak tahu bahwa lagu-lagu D’Masiv menjiplak karya orang lain. ”Kami selama ini memberi kebebasan kepada artis untuk membuat karya sendiri. Peristiwa ini memang sangat disayangkan. Kami berharap ini menjadi pelajaran berharga buat D’Masiv. Tetapi, saya juga meminta agar masyarakat tidak mematikan karier D’Masiv. Bagaimanapun mereka adalah band baru yang belum berpengalaman dan belum mengerti aturan di industri musik,” tutur Ibu Acin, panggilan akrab Indrawati.

Ini sebenarnya bukan hanya pelajaran bagi dunia industri musik. Mengingat pola yang sama juga terjadi di bidang kreatif lain, seperti film, sinetron, acara TV, bahkan seni rupa kontemporer. Kita, pasti tidak ingin semata-mata menjadi bangsa dengan semangat epigonis.

Teknologi Informasi Kunci Demokrasi

Tujuan Komisi Pemilihan Umum membangun infrastruktur dan sistem teknologi informasi adalah untuk mengumpulkan dan memublikasikan hasil perolehan suara pemilu di semua tempat pemungutan suara dengan cepat, akurat, dan transparan.

Ini penting untuk mengatasi kendala sistem pemilu yang lebih rumit, khususnya pada pemilu legislatif, kondisi geografis yang sangat beragam dan tersebar, serta keterbatasan sarana dan prasarana, baik transportasi maupun telekomunikasi.

Penyampaian informasi yang cepat dan akurat dapat memberi masyarakat kesempatan ikut secara langsung mengawasi proses penghitungan suara per TPS yang bisa dipantau melalui situs http://tnp.kpu. go.id/.

Dengan demikian, proses penghitungan suara menjadi lebih transparan, jujur, dan adil. Masyarakat langsung memantau adanya penyimpangan atau perbedaan perolehan suara dan melaporkan adanya perbedaan itu kepada Panitia Pemilihan Kecamatan (PPK) setempat.

Di samping fungsi pengawasan, proses penghitungan TI menampilkan pergerakan perhitungan suara secara bertahap sehingga perkembangan perolehan suara dapat diikuti dari waktu ke waktu, dan masyarakat diharapkan lebih dapat menerima hasilnya. Ini terbukti dengan hasil Pemilu 2004 yang dapat diterima semua pihak, termasuk partai yang pada saat itu berkuasa.

Dasar penghitungan suara adalah perhitungan di TPS yang tercantum dalam formulir C1-IT dan disahkan Kelompok Penyelenggara Pemungutan Suara (KPPS). Hasil perolehan suara dalam formulir C1-IT langsung dibawa ke kecamatan atau PPK.

Pemilihan lokasi di kecamatan disebabkan kondisi geografis Indonesia yang luas dan jumlah TPS yang harus dimasukkan ke dalam sistem penghitungan suara. Waktu untuk membawa formulir C1-IT dari TPS ke kecamatan akan jauh lebih cepat daripada membawa formulir C1-IT dari TPS ke kabupaten atau kota sebagai lokasi untuk data entry (KPU daerah).

Data diamankan

Formulir didigitalkan oleh relawan data entry dan sebelum dikirimkan ke KPU pusat, data tersebut diverifikasi dahulu oleh PPK dan ditandai dengan diberikannya semacam personal identification number (PIN) khusus kepada PPK setempat. Setiap PPK di seluruh Indonesiamempunyai PIN khusus ini. Setelah PIN dimasukkan PPK, data dikirim setiap satu jam.

Pertimbangannya, untuk memasukkan data dari formulir C1-IT dibutuhkan waktu paling tidak lima menit per TPS (jumlah formulir ada empat buah, masing-masing untuk hasil DPR, DPRD provinsi, DPRD kabupaten/kota, dan DPD). Dengan satu komputer saja per jamnya dihasilkan 12 TPS atau 144 TPS per hari per komputer.

Pengiriman dapat dilakukan karena KPU membangun infrastruktur di kecamatan melalui PT Telkom (2.659 kecamatan) dan PT PSN (1.850 kecamatan), serta menambah perangkat komputer di kecamatan untuk Jawa dua buah dan luar Jawa satu buah.

Dalam proses pengiriman, data diamankan menggunakan enkripsi dan message digest untuk menghindari penyadapan dan perubahan data selama pengiriman. Setelah data diterima server dan diverifikasi oleh server yang dinamakan submission server, data tersebut diteruskan ke server lain atau data warehouse untuk ditampilkan di internet (http://tnp.kpu.go.id).

Data tersebut juga disampaikan ke sejumlah parpol dan televisi sehingga masyarakat dapat mengikuti proses penghitungannya. Data yang ditampilkan adalah data mulai dari DPR, DPRD provinsi, DPRD kabupaten/kota, dan DPD (Dewan Perwakilan Daerah). Di samping itu, disediakan juga helpdesk untuk membantu operator di seluruh Indonesia yang bertugas selama 24 jam sehari.

Sejak awal

Secara umum proses pada sistem 2009 hampir mirip dengan yang dilakukan tahun 2004. Prinsipnya, mengambil data per TPS dengan diadakannya formulir C1-IT yang kemudian dikirimkan ke kabupaten/kota.

Perbedaan utama adalah metode untuk memasukkan data dari TPS yang menggunakan basis kabupaten/kota dan penggunaan teknologi intelligent character recognition (ICR) yang berbasis pemindai. Data dalam bentuk teks tersebut sebelum dikirimkan ke Data Center KPU dilakukan enkripsi agar tidak mudah dipalsukan atau diubah di tengah jalan (intercept).

Kemudian di server KPU pusat, data yang telah dienkripsi di buka kembali (dekripsi), divalidasi, dimasukkan ke data warehouse server, dan baru ditampilkan di internet melalui situs http://tnp.kpu.go.id.

Pada penjelasan teknis tim IT KPU 2009 di bawah koordinasi BPPT yang dirilis pada situs blog, http://tipemilu2009.wordpress. com/2009/04/06/mengenal-icr/, sistem yang digunakan adalah ICR. Adapun diagram kerjanya dapat dilihat di bawah ini.

Persoalan yang muncul adalah keterlambatan data masuk ke Tabulasi Nasional Pemilu (TNP). Masalah ini sebenarnya sudah dapat diduga sejak awal. Titik kritis persoalan adalah lokasi untuk melakukan data entry yang diputuskan di kabupaten/kota. Ada waktu yang cukup lama untuk membawa semua hasil di TPS (form C1-IT) ke kabupaten/kota yang jaraknya bervariasi antara satu lokasi dan lokasi lain.

Faktor lain adalah jumlah formulir sebanyak 8 lembar per TPS membuat lama proses pemindaian (pindai, edit, simpan, dan kirim). Selain itu, perangkat dan sarana-prasarana pendukung yang disediakan di kabupaten/kota tidak mencukupi untuk mengelola karena TPS yang jumlahnya bisa mencapai ribuan di wilayah KPU daerah.

Di Kota Bandung, misalnya, ada sekitar 1,5 juta penduduk, dengan jumlah per pemilih per TPS rata-rata 300, maka akan ada 5.000 TPS untuk setiap formulir C1-IT yang harus dipindai, edit, dan simpan. Jika setiap formulir C1-IT membutuhkan lima menit, maka per jam dihasilkan 12 formulir, dan kalau dilakukan 24 jam nonstop hanya dihasilkan 144 formulir C1-IT per TPS per komputer.

Jika ada dua komputer, akan dihasilkan 288 TPS per hari. Sedangkan jumlah TPS mencapai lima ribu, dan untuk melengkapi semua hasil TPS akan dibutuhkan waktu 18 hari (kalau tidak terjadi persoalan teknis lainnya).

Perbedaan lain yang mendasar adalah tidak terlihat adanya mekanisme untuk melakukan metode koreksi kesalahan dengan cepat dan hanya dilakukan proses untuk DPR, sedangkan DPRD provinsi, DPRD kabupaten/kota dan DPD tidak dilakukan KPU (tim IT KPU).

Penambahan perangkat

Keterlambatan terjadi di TNP disebabkan antara lain business process yang tidak dipahami secara menyeluruh oleh perencana sistem dan dampak yang ditimbulkannya, pengambilan keputusan untuk melakukan data entry, atau scanning formulir C1-IT di kabupaten/kota tidak disertai perencanaan operator memadai.

Ketidakjelasan prosedur standar operasi (SOP) untuk melakukan proses digitalisasi formulir data C1-IT dan teknologi ICR sendiri yang tingkat ketelitiannya masih tidak dapat mencapai 99 persen.

Melihat masalah yang terjadi terkait kasus yang muncul belakangan ini, terutama berhubungan dengan kelambatan proses penghitungan suara, proses pemindaian, sebaiknya dilakukan dengan menambahkan jumlah pemindai, komputer, dan operator untuk data entry.

Besarnya penambahan sarana dan prasarana tergantung jumlah pemilih di suatu daerah, walaupun solusi ini mungkin sulit dilakukan mengingat proses pengadaan barang membutuhkan prosedur yang tidak mudah.

Selain itu, mengingat waktu sangat terbatas, sebaiknya data setiap formulir C1-IT di setiap TPS dimasukkan dengan cara diketik melalui program sederhana, diverifikasi oleh KPU daerah, dan dikirimkan ke Data Center KPU. Dengan mengerahkan semua sumber daya, KPU dapat mengatasi ketertinggalan data yang seharusnya mencapai 70 persen hingga hari ini.

Basis undang-undang

Teknologi informasi juga dapat dilakukan untuk proses pembaruan pendaftaran pemilih daftar pemilih tetap (DPT) pilpres I. Dengan waktu yang sangat ketat, updating data DPT hanya bisa dilakukan menggunakan teknologi informasi secara hati-hati dan tepat.

Berbasis pada KPU daerah, KPU dapat menyediakan sistem yang dengan cepat digunakan untuk updating data pemilih pilpres, sekaligus melakukan pemantauan distribusi logistik hingga ke titik TPS yang dituju. Teknologi yang ada terutama yang dimiliki KPU 2004 dapat juga digunakan untuk proses penghitungan suara di Pilpres 2009.

Teknologi tahun 2004 terbukti dengan cepat dapat memberikan hasil yang tingkat keakuratannya di atas 99 persen. Dengan keakuratan dan proses yang dapat diverifikasi dengan cepat, masyarakat berharap proses pemilu ini jujur dan adil.

Perlu dipertimbangkan juga adanya UU No 11 Tahun 2008 tentang Informasi dan Transaksi Elektronik, di mana dinyatakan pada Bab III Pasal 5 Ayat 1, informasi elektronik dan/atau dokumen elektronik dan/atau hasil cetaknya merupakan alat bukti hukum yang sah.

Ayat 2 menyebutkan, informasi elektronik dan/atau dokumen elektronik dan/atau hasil cetaknya sebagaimana dimaksud pada Ayat 1 merupakan perluasan dari alat bukti yang sah sesuai dengan hukum acara yang berlaku di Indonesia.

Ayat 3, informasi elektronik dan/atau dokumen elektronik dinyatakan sah apabila menggunakan sistem elektronik sesuai dengan ketentuan yang diatur dalam UU ini.

Ayat 4, ketentuan mengenai informasi elektronik dan/atau dokumen elektronik sebagaimana dimaksud pada Ayat 1 tidak berlaku untuk surat yang menurut UU harus dibuat dalam bentuk tertulis.

Berbasis pada undang-undang ini, data yang dihasilkan dari formulir C1-IT dapat juga dijadikan sebagai dasar hukum untuk penghitungan suara dan dapat secara sah diakui juga hasilnya sehingga teknologi informasi dapat memberikan sumbangsih yang besar pada proses demokrasi di Indonesia..

TRIK SEDERHANA MENGHINDARI VIRUS

Tulisan ini kutuangkan, setelah sekian lama aku mencoba bertahan,.... ada kebutuhan IT, ada resiko IT, dan para pengguna umumnya sudah tidak asing lagi... ada faktor gangguan dan resiko .... yaitu VIRUS

Dari serangkaian uji coba, dapat saya simpulkan Trik Sederhana di bawah ini.... ???

Dari realita-realita di atas, penanganan yang tepat "menurut saya" adalah ...

1. Install sistem operasi dari kondisi nol ( partitioning )

Obama sudah resmi menjadi presiden. Pesta akbar demokrasi negeri adidaya itu usai. Sesaat lagi giliran pesta akbar yang sama digelar di negeri kita. Dan, menyeruaklah satu kata keramat yang disebut ”kompetisi”!

Kompetisi tentu sesuatu yang sah saja dalam setiap perjuangan kehidupan, apa pun dimensinya. Tanpa kompetisi, tak akan pernah ada sintesis, tak ada gerak progresif, dan dinamika kehidupan akan jalan di tempat. Kompetisi, mau tak mau, akan melibatkan kegiatan untuk melirik kelemahan pihak lain dan mencari serta menonjolkan kelebihan diri.

Namun, perlu diwaspadai adanya dua jenis kompetisi: pertama, kompetisi produktif—sebuah bentuk kompetisi yang melahirkan competitive advantage. Kompetisi produktif semacam ini baik-baik saja dan akan menghasilkan ”pemenang yang terbaik”. Maka, rakyat (atau siapa pun yang akan menjadi penikmat hasil kompetisi) akan menerima sesuatu yang produktif.

Jenis kompetisi kedua disebut kompetisi kontraproduktif—sebuah bentuk kompetisi yang kelewat batas dan hanya melahirkan berbagai competitive disadvantage! Di sini, bentuk kompetisi mempunyai ekses merugikan pihak lain, bahkan menyakiti dan menghancurkan. Kegiatan mencari kelebihan diri bukan hanya bersifat eksplorasi, tetapi sudah eksploitasi.

Sayangnya, jenis kompetisi kedua inilah yang sering terjadi pada bangsa ini, nyaris dalam segenap dimensi kehidupan kemasyarakatan. Secara individual, jenis kompetisi ini sungguh merusak sikap mental, kepribadian, sikap, dan bahkan perilaku. Misalnya, dalam kehidupan dunia kerja.

Karyawan lebih banyak dikuasai kompetisi kontraproduktif. Melihat koleganya naik gaji dengan persentase lebih tinggi, muncul sikap sirik, curiga. Lalu jadi demotivasi, kasak-kusuk, dan bekerja dengan malas—tanpa pernah introspeksi dan mencoba mencari tahu penyebabnya. Bersikap negatif pada perusahaan. Demikian juga ketika temannya mendapatkan promosi. Alih-alih berjuang lebih keras, karyawan tersebut malah mulai melakukan berbagai langkah eksploitatif, mencari, bahkan mengarang, kelemahan untuk menjatuhkan teman yang dipromosi.

Demikian seterusnya, jenis kompetisi inilah yang lebih banyak terjadi pada bangsa ini. Maka, sebagai bangsa, meski telah melewati enam presiden, susah untuk menjadi bangsa besar yang unggul dan progresif. Lebih banyak berputar-putar dan jalan di tempat, bahkan tak jarang sering melukai, merugikan, dan menghancurkan diri sendiri sebagai bangsa.

Dua jenis mentalitas

Mengadaptasi Stephen Covey, kompetisi kontraproduktif ini lebih didasari oleh mentalitas kekurangan (scarcity mentality). Mental yang menganggap bahwa dunia, Bumi, semesta, negeri, tempat kerja, sekolah, dan seterusnya tak punya sumber yang cukup untuk semua orang. Karena itu, mereka berebut, mengeksploitasi, menyakiti, menyikut, menghancurkan untuk lebih dulu mendapatkan segala sesuatu. Dan, sekali lagi, jika orang lain lebih dulu mendapatkan sesuatu, dia akan meradang.

Ada baiknya kita mendengar yang dikatakan Wallace D Wattles, ”Tugas kita bukanlah mencari apa yang telah dimiliki orang lain sebab kita bisa menciptakan apa yang kita inginkan.” Maka, sebagai alternatif dari kompetisi, muncullah kata ”kreasi”. Sungguh, kreasi mempunyai kualitas lebih tinggi dari kompetisi, bahkan yang produktif sekalipun.

Landasan sikap dan perilaku kreasi adalah mentalitas kelimpahan (abundance mentality). Dunia ini punya lebih dari cukup untuk semua orang. Tak perlu berebut, menyakiti, menghancurkan, berkompetisi kontraproduktif untuk menjadi ”pemenang kehidupan terbaik”. Jika jadi karyawan, tugasnya ”cuma” bagaimana ia berikhtiar untuk terus menerus mencipta, berkreasi berdasarkan job description yang diberikan.

Sikap mencipta semacam itu membuat seorang karyawan bukan hanya mampu menjalankan dan memenuhi tuntutan job description-nya, tetapi juga bahkan melahirkan ”karya-karya” menakjubkan yang tak pernah terpikirkan siapa pun, termasuk dirinya sendiri. Dia akan menjadi karyawan unggul. Ini akan jauh lebih mulia dibandingkan ia hanya sibuk melirik kanan-kiri, mencari kelemahan orang lain, bahkan lupa untuk sekadar memenuhi kewajiban tuntutan job description-nya.

Jadi, bisa disimpulkan, dalam proses pemenuhan tugas kehidupan, ada tiga aras kualitas: kompetisi kontraproduktif (paling rendah dan tidak disarankan), kompetisi produktif (moderate, disarankan), dan kreasi (paling tinggi, diperlukan).

Jika kompetisi (produktif) menghasilkan competitive advantage, kreasi melahirkan creative excellence. Hanya dari sana lahir manusia unggul, karyawan unggul, perusahaan unggul, dan bangsa unggul. Bangsa ini sungguh memerlukan sebuah ”manajemen manusia unggul”!

PC maintenance is an important topic for anyone who owns a Personal Computer (PC). Looking after your PC properly can ensure it gives you trouble-free use. Regular PC maintenance also keeps the machine's performance optimal. There are five tasks that are part of the suggested maintenance for your PC.

1. Windows Updates

2. Spyware & Virus definition Updates and Scan

3. File & Folder Cleaning

4. Hard Drive Defragmentation

The first task that should be done when performing maintenance on your PC is to ensure that it has all the latest Windows security updates. Below is a procedure on how to manually run the Windows Update wizard.

Install Windows Updates

Connect to the Internet
Click on either the Windows Update or Microsoft Update icon
Click either the Custom or Express button:
Custom – All updates (High Priority, Software Optional, Hardware Optional Updates)
Express – High Priority Updates Only
The Update wizard will scan your PC and notify you what updates are recommended.
To install individual updates, click to select the check boxes next to the updates that you want. You can run multiple updates. If any of the selected updates is an exclusive item that must be installed separately from other updates, you receive a message that indicates which update needs to be installed separately.
Reboot the PC as directed.

The fourth task is to perform a scan of your hard drive to ensure that it is functioning correctly.

Hard Drive Defrag

Windows XP offers a program that will defrag your hard drive:

Right-click the drive's icon in Windows Explorer and select:
Properties
Tools
Defragmentation

NOTE: You may have more than one hard drive or partition showing – select the C:\drive. Press the Defragment button on the bottom of your screen. This process may be time consuming. Once completed – turn your screensaver back on and reboot your PC. This should be done once a month at a minimum.

As stated before, periodic maintenance should be done on your PC in order to keep your computer running optimally. All five steps should be done at least once a month. Step 2 (AntiVirus & AntiSpyware Scanning) is recommended to be done once a week.

Wireless networking can be as easy as plugging everything in and booting your PC, or it can quickly become a nightmare task. These days networking has evolved well beyond just file and printer sharing among devices. Networked appliances, such as IP TV, Tivo and gaming consoles introduce greater complexity and considerations when choosing a router and network cards. Some older devices, such as Tivo will require you to run their own special wireless network card if you want to connect Tivo to your WPA-protected network.

So we’ve laid out a few things to consider for those who are building their network from the ground up.

Inventory your networking appliances and research any special needs they may have. We’ve already mentioned the Tivo, but you need to look at older laptops and PCs that may already have WiFi cards. You’ll want to update those cards to take advantage of WPA encryption. Using WEP in today’s wireless devices is simply no longer an option due to its security risks.

Find a centralized location in your home and have the broadband modem and router setup there. If possible, attach the main PC via wired Ethernet if the proximity allows. Having a central location will reduce the amount of dead spots in your wireless coverage

Use MAC security. If you like poking things with a stick, you can try setting your network up for MAC security. Every network card in the world has its own Media Access Control address. You can set your router up to allow access only from MAC addresses you specify. This reduces the chance a neighbor or snoop will gain access to your network.

Look for a router that has a detachable antenna. Most brands like D-Link and Linksys will support the addition of larger antennas to expand the range of your network.

Incorporate a Print Server. Spend a few extra dollars or a router that has a built-in print server. Having to proxy through a PC to get to a printer is an added complication you can avoid with a router that already has print server capabilities.

When setting up a network, you should think about the future before buying the hardware. This can save you money in the long run. If you know later on that you'll want to add wireless capabilities to your LAN, then you should invest in a wireless router to begin with and build your network outward from there. Other networking devices you'll need include a broadband modem (DSL or Cable) and wireless or Ethernet network cards--depending on what type of network you're setting up.

This diagram shows a typical home network with a couple of PCs, a printer and a wireless connection to a laptop. You'll notice that the modem gives the router an external IP address, while the router's internal ports allow the client PCs to have internal IP addresses like 192.168.1.2. The gateway for the PCs is the router's internal IP address 192.168.1.1. Gateway means this is the IP address the PCs will use to gain access to the Internet. The router also allows the computers to see each other

Configuring The Network

It's usally best to allow the router to give out IP address for the LAN. In this case the router is considered a DHCP server. By default, computer network adapters are set to Obtain An IP Address Automatically, which means when it boots it will look for a DHCP server and the router will assign it a local IP address.

In the router's configuration, you will want to change the default password and the SSID for the router. You will also want to enable WPA encryption for any wireless devices you have. This makes it harder for a passer-by or a neighbor to accidently gain access to your network.

Unless the printer has a print server built in, it will need to be attached to a PC and that PC will become the print server for the network. Pada umumnya tujuan utama antivirus adalah mencegah virus menginfeksi sistem komputer kita, ini adalah prinsip utama. Jika yakin virus dan bukan data penting langsung dihapus tidak ada masalah, tetapi jika merupakan data, sebaiknya di simpan di karantina. Selanjutnya dicatat nama virus yang menginfeksi, karena informasi ini sangat penting digunakan untuk mencari informasi bagaimana menyelamatkan datanya.

Banyak antivirus yang membuat tools khusus atau program terpisah untuk memperbaiki file yang terinfeksi virus. Sebaiknya hal ini juga diperiksa. What Are Windows Startup Errors?

The Windows operating system that drives your desktop or laptop PC is a remarkably efficient thing, considering the many thousands of operations that it has to carry out every moment that your PC is operating.

Now, as the name would imply, Windows start-up errors occur when you boot your PC.

Or, at least when you try to boot your PC.

The most serious potential problem of all is that your Windows operating system will not start at all. In effect, your PC is dead.

In this case, you need to use any external boot devices that you have available, such as any suitable floppy disk or CD-Rom that you have previously created for this very purpose.

If they don’t work, and they will not always do so, then you need to go one step further back and look to your original operating system installation disk, in order to save the day.

However, when referring to a Startup error, we would more commonly be talking about a situation where, on trying to start, you would see a message that simply tells you that there is an error happening during the startup process.

If this happens only once, you can generally ignore it, as by definition, if it does not happen again, the chances are good that the problem was only short-lived and temporary.

If however, it happens more than once, then the culprit is likely to be found in one of several different locations within the registry of your Windows operating system.

The usual ‘suspects’ would be as follows:

There’s a file that cannot be found: A driver or a program is set up or configured to load when Windows starts. However, for whatever reason, the underlying file is either damaged or absent. Usually, you have to reinstall the driver or application to fix the problem, or remove the references that are causing the problem (that is, the code that is telling the computer to run that program).

There’s a driver that will not load: This could either mean that the driver itself is damaged, or that the device which the driver controls is not able to function correctly.

There’s a virus or other malware: Viruses or malware can be at the root of this kind of error, even if they are themselves malfunctioning! Scan your system with updated anti-virus software or anti-spyware software.

How Do Startup Errors Begin?

To a large extent, the answer to that question will depend on the cause of the problem.

For example, if the error is caused by a virus or some other malware, then that has probably been implanted into your registry by a program that you downloaded, or an infected email that you opened.

However, viruses or malware driven difficulties are the easy ones to explain!

Files that are damaged or corrupted, along with drivers, can be far more difficult to spot.

Basically, every time you instigate any form of action on your PC, you are probably generating errors of one form or another.

You probably have dozens, if not hundreds of file errors on your PC right now, and are not aware of it because the vast majority will not actually cause you any problems.

However, every time that such an action causes a file or folder to become even slightly damaged or corrupted, you just moved a little closer to the point where the errors do begin to have an adverse effect on the operating system.

In effect, it is the normal day to day operation of your PC that will eventually cause errors that become problematical for you, and Startup errors are no exception to this rule.

They really represent the tip of the iceberg, appearing above the visible error ‘waterline’, indicating a problem whilst keeping 90% of what is really going on well hidden!

How To Repair Windows Startup Errors

In an effort to find the cause of Startup errors, you can sometimes begin to resolve the problem by removing the reference to the file, or, at the very least, locating the damaged file or driver will help you to determine exactly where the problem lies.

You could try looking in the Startup folder that is generally found in the start menu itself, for outdated or unwanted shortcuts.

If your PC gives you the name of the file or folder that is causing the Startup error, you can try to find it by looking in “HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\ SOFTWARE\ Microsoft\ Windows\ CurrentVersion\ Run” directory, to see if there are any clues there.

Some program types are fairly notorious for creating startup havoc, by placing unwanted files in places that they should not be.

Backup programs can fall into this category, so if you have an automatic backup system in place, check it for this kind of error.

The bottom line, however, is that it is likely to be very difficult indeed to properly isolate the problems that are the root cause of your Startup errors, without the correct tools to do so.

Rather than trying to do the job manually, it would make much more sense to run a free deep-system registry scan with a program likeRegCure, which would highlight all of the errors in the registry, not only those that are causing Startup difficulties.

The absolute knowledge that from the very first moment that you switch it on, things are already starting to happen in the Windows operating system that are not supposed to happen.

The undeniable fact that, even within just a few short days of buying your new machine, it’s already slowing down.

Why Dows Your PC Slow Down?

I the normal course of events, there is no one single reason why your PC will slow down. It’s a cumulative thing, something that builds up over time.

Sometimes, it’s a problem caused by the machine itself when, for example, it corrupts a file for some reason.

At other times it might be due to ‘operator error’! For example, you lose patience and try to switch the machine off before it is fully ready to do so.

Or, you may try to have too many programs running at the same time (the processor in any PC can only do so much at once, no matter how ‘fast’ it is) so that some form of ‘conflict’ develops between them, and once again, files or folders get damaged.

Perhaps you install and then un-install a wide variety of different software programs on a regular basis?

If you do, then be aware that this is a prime cause of defects and errors developing within Windows, and that, the more often you install and then remove programs, he more errors you will inevitably cause.

So, the reasons for the inevitable slowdown are many and various. Some are easily controllable, some less so.

How To Minimize The Slow Down Process

Most PC users are incredibly impatient.

Try not to be one of these people if at all possible.

Try not to fire too many jobs at your machine at the same time. Do not, for example, try to have three or four different types of internet browser running at the same time

Trying to run Internet Explorer, Firefox, Netscape and Opera browsers all at the same time is an almost guaranteed recipe for disaster, so don’t do it.

Likewise, running a virus scan at the same time as using a different program to search out spyware programs, will probably cause problems too.

Also, try not to install and uninstall too many different software programs. Don’t fall into the trap of just installing software because you have it. If you cannot see any real reason why you would want to use a program, don’t install it.

Then you don’t have to uninstall it either, which is the action that usually starts the problems happening.

Bottom line is that, if what you are just about to do on your PC doesn’t seem so smart, then it probably isn’t!

How To Speed Up Your PC After It Slows Down

By the time your PC is noticeably slow, the chances are that you will have literally hundred’s or errors and defects within your Windows registry.

It is not impossible that you could sit down and try to locate every one of those hundreds of errors, and then fix them annually.

Not impossible, that is, assuming that you are an absolute Windows operating system wizard and have several hours, or, more likely, days on your hands to effect the repairs!

And then you would have to assume that every repair that you effect works perfectly, and that the system ‘willingly’ co-operates with you. Which it won’t….

Truthfully, attempting to speed up your operating system manually is a waste of time and effort, asides from the fact that, in all probability, it won’t be effective!

A far more efficient and cost effective solution would be to run a deep system scan with a professional level registry scanning software program like RegCure, totally free, to see what problems you have.

Then, download the program, and use it to fix everything that is slowing down your PC.

It’s called using the correct tools for the job in hand, and is by far the best way of getting your PC back up to speed once again!

Mengapa Antivirus Langsung menghapus File

Mungkin sebagian sudah pernah mengalami ketika antivirus mendeteksi sebuah virus atau file yang terinfeksi virus, maka biasanya akan langsung dihapus. Tidak pandang bulu apakah sebelumnya file tersebut penting atau tidak, formatnya apa dan betapa berharga dokumen tersebut bagi kita. Ini juga sering muncul di komentar atau pertanyaan di ebsoft.web.id
Berikut sedikit penjelasan mengenai beberapa hal tersebut seperti mengapa kok antivirus langsung menghapus file, yang satu mendeteksi tetapi yang satu tidak, adakah antivirus yang tidak langsung menghapus file yang terinfeksi virus dan sebagainya

Pada umumnya tujuan utama antivirus adalah mencegah virus menginfeksi sistem komputer kita, ini adalah prinsip utama. Meskipun kedepannya banyak antivirus yang sudah dilengkapi dengan fasilitas untuk memperbaiki sistem yang rusak. Tetapi tetap saja fungsi utama antivirus adalah untuk mencegah, dan mengobati adalah prioritas yang kesekian.
Oleh karena itu jika sistem komputer sudah terinfeksi virus, maka sebagian antivirus tidak berdaya, dan kita harus mencari alternatif lain untuk membasmi virus tersebut. Hal ini wajar, karena virus akan berusaha mematikan kinerja antivirus dan segala upaya dilakukan untuk mempertahankan dirinya. Sementara antivirus sudah tidak bisa berfungsi penuh. Maka update virus atau antivirus secara rutin akan berperan penting dalam usaha menjaga sistem dari serangan virus.
Mengapa Virus yang terdeteksi langsung dihapus ?
Hal ini sebenarnya bagi sebagian antivirus bisa diatur. Hampir semua antivirus menyediakan pengaturan akan diapakan ketika mendeteksi sebuah virus atau file yang terinfeksi virus. Dan memang biasanya pengaturan default (bawaan) akan langsung menghapus file tersebut. Maka ketika menggunakan antivirus, sebaiknya juga dilihat pengaturan tersebut. Jika tidak ingin file yang terdeteksi virus langsung dihapus, maka harus mengubah setting yang ada. Atau minimal kita mengawasi ketika proses scan berlangsung.
Hal tersebut juga merupakan pilihan sebagian besar antivirus, karena sebagian besar pengguna biasanya kurang tahu seberapa besar dampak virus tersebut, sehingga antivirus akan langsung menghapus untuk keamanan data dan sistem komputer.
Antivirus mendeteksi virus tetapi tidak bisa dihapus
Hal ini biasanya terjadi ketika komputer sudah terinfefksi virus, dan beberapa virus sudah berjalan di komputer, sehingga ketika satu virus akan dihapus, virus yang lain melindunginya atau mencegahnya sehingga gagal dihapus. Selain itu perlu juga dicermati dimana lokasi virus tersebut, jika berada di folder yang di proteksi windows (misalnya seperti di folder System Volume Information) maka biasanya tidak bisa dihapus, karena aksesnya dibatasi oleh windows. Adakah antivirus yang selalu memperbaiki, tidak menghapus ?
Jika sepenuhnya memperbaiki, sepertinya tidak ada dan mungkin tidak akan pernah ada, mengingat jumlah virus yang mencapai ribuan, bahkan ratusan ribu dan teknik infeksi file yang bermacam-macam. Memang sebagian file yang terinfeksi virus masih bisa diperbaiki, tetapi sebagian lainnya tidak. Bahkan otomatis file yang terinfeksi akan rusak dan hampir mustahil di kembalikan lagi. Hal ini sangat tergantung teknik virus yang digunakan menginfeksi file.
Maka untuk kemanan data, ketika antivirus mendeteksi virus, perlu diperiksa apakah benar 100% virus atau hanya file yang terinfeksi virus ( dokumen penting yang terinfeksi virus). Jika yakin virus dan bukan data penting langsung dihapus tidak ada masalah, tetapi jika merupakan data, sebaiknya di simpan di karantina. Selanjutnya dicatat nama virus yang menginfeksi, karena informasi ini sangat penting digunakan untuk mencari informasi bagaimana menyelamatkan datanya.
Banyak antivirus yang membuat tools khusus atau program terpisah untuk memperbaiki file yang terinfeksi virus. Sebaiknya hal ini juga diperiksa. Selain itu, jika yang menyerang virus lokal, biasanya antivirus lokal juga akan lebih akurat dalam waktu yang dekat, sedangkan antivirus luar responnya mungkin lebih lama. Tetapi tidak menutup kemungkinan antivirus luar yang berhasil mendeteksi terlebih dulu.

Membangun Moral Bangsa

Dari mana kita mulai membangun bangsa ini? Pembangunan kembali negeri ini harus mulai dari etika, moral, dan nilai. Prof Sutan Takdir Alisyahbana, pemikir hebat Indonesia, waktu dikejar oleh Bung Karno membuat tesis di Stanford University dengan judul Values as Integrating Forces in Personality, Society and Culture.
Kebudayaan dapat dipandang sebagai kumpulan nilai-nilai. Kebudayaan adalah etika dan moral serta budi pekerti masyarakat. Dalam bahasa barat, culture dan civilization tidak ada hubungan langsung dengan mind, moral,atau ethics. Hanya bahasa Indonesia yang mempunyai hubungan langsung antara budi dan kebudayaan. Jelas sekali bahwa bagi bangsa Indonesia kebudayaan dipengaruhi budi-daya.
Tetapi kenapa saat-saat ini kebudayaan kita bisa dikatakan cukup kacau. Kita bangsa yang dengan ”Ketuhanan Yang Maha Esa”,tetapi kenapa media elektronik atau media cetak kita penuh dengan kesyirikan. Para kiai yang tampil di acara mengajar keagamaan kalah populer dengan ”kiai-kiai” yang mengejar hantu setiap malam di televisi. Kita mempercayai Tuhan Yang Mahagaib,tapi kenapa beberapa kiai kita menjadikan agama Islam sebagai ”agama misteri” bukan agama yang rasional.
Umat Islam saat ini mengalami pembodohan yang luar biasa secara teknologis. Dalam era globalisasi ini,setiap umat dan bangsa memasuki era kompetisi di bidang ilmu dan teknologi, sedangkan bangsa dan umat Islam di Indonesia, asyik mendalami dan mengejar tempat misteri dan sakti. Mari kita bangkit dari terpuruk menjadi manusia massal (istilah Adlers). Umat Islam harus kembali kepada nilai-nilai Islam supaya tidak tergelincir dalam kemajemukan bangsa dan hedonisme serta pornografi dunia dan media.
Saya menawarkan nilai atau etika dari Alquran surat Al-Mukminun 1–10.Dalam awal surat ini Allah menjamin kesuksesan hidup hamba-Nya atau masyarakat yang mempunyai sifat-sifat atau nilai-nilai: (1) Selalu memegang relasi vertikal; (2) Selalu produktif dalam hidup; (3) tidak terbawa arus hura-hura; (4) Selalu dermawan; (5) Selalu menjaga tindakan seksualnya secara sehat; (6) Selalu menjaga amanah (uang, jabatan, dan kepemimpinan).
Kalau kita sistematiskan, pesan Allah dalam surat Al-Mukminun itu, maka relasi yang secara moral dipegang manusia adalah human to God relations dan human relations. Dalammasyarakat Barat dengan sekularisme mereka,yang dijaga hanya human relations, sedangkan ”God was dead”. Namun, dengan era revival of religion(dari 1980 sampai kini),ternyata Barat makin yakin bahwa manusia tidak bisa bahagia tanpa agama. Selain itu, menurut Daniel Goleman, Emotional Intelligence adalah suatu publikasi psikologi,bagaimana jiwa anak-anak sejak kecil sudah harus disentuh (touch) dengan rasa keagamaan.
Dari Emotional Intelligence saat ini berlanjut ke spiritual intelligence.Menurut ahli manajemen Barat,saat ini yang tepat,”Leading the people with your soul.” Barat makin mendekati spiritualitas dengan ilmiah,sedang bangsa dan umat Islam makin mendekati spiritualitas dengan ”orang pintar”yang secara intelektual tak pintar,alias dukun. Dalam menghadapi tantangan ini, marilah menjadikan Alquran dan Sunah sebagai referensi utama kejiwaan dalam membangkitkan Islam dan bangsa yang cerdas dan beriman. Dalam Surat Al-Mujaadilah ayat 11, Allah berfirman, ”Derajat umat Islam akan meningkat dengan iman dan ilmu.
” Karena itu,di dalam mendidik dan mengatasi problema dan constraints bangsa Indonesia, kita harus sabar dan berpikir jernih serta sistematis. Tidak perlu kita putus asa dan pesimis terhadap dampak buruk dari globalisasi. Umat dan bangsa ternyata tidak meletakkan ‘values’ sebagai integrating forces dalam membangun kepribadian masyarakat dan kebudayaan ”sebagai prioritas”.
Kita patut bersyukur bahwa para psikiater di negeri ini telah memulai memutar prioritas ”values” etika dan moral itu dalam membangun budaya masyarakat madani pada khazanah Negara Kesatuan Republik Indonesia. Terakhir, marilah kita membangun dan membina persatuan umat dan bangsa, membangun persatuan dan kesatuan dalam masyarakat majemuk sulit dan butuh kesabaran serta keadilan.Jangan ciptakan tirani mayoritas atau tirani minoritas dengan cara-cara tak sehat.
